About Us

Mi Escuelita Bilingual PreSchool & DayCare was established in 2012, with the desire to meet the needs of a very diverse community that values high quality education, cultural relevancy and the importance of a second language. Mi Escuelita has a goal to remain different from other childcare institutions as we promise our parents to make our school a home away from home for our children, where they can always have a family to love them and care for them. At Mi Escuelita each child is cared for like one of our own kids and loved on like a biological child of ours. We appreciate the trust that parents give us when they choose us to care for their little ones and promise to take the best care possible of them.

Mi Escuelita Bilingual PreSchool & DayCare exists to provide a safe, fun, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Our focus is to provide a stimulatingearly care and educational experience that promotes each child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.

Mi Escuelita is owned and managed by a native Spanish speaker with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/Education,more than 10 years of childcare experience(newborns to teens and children with special needs), and currently working on a Master's degree in Professional Counseling.

Teachers and assistants at Mi Escuelita are native Spanish Speakers,
fluent in English and properly trained to provide exceptional care.

We promote a fun and structured learning environment, to prepare children for kindergarden, teach them manners, social skills, love for one another, and more.

Each parent receives a daily report of the child's meals, diapers, medicines, activities, naps, moods, and notes, to assist families with routines and and schedules. We offer a daily schedule organized with lots of activities from music, to bible stories, play time, puzzles, blocks, massage, dance, early stimulation, aerobics, and more.
The curriculum varies depending on the age and abilities of each child, to ensure each of our students is getting the best education and development at the right pace. We provide a dual language (English & Spanish), early childcare environment with a Spanish curriculum that allows children to be exposed to the language from an early age. Our goal is to help children develop appreciation of themselves as individuals, their classmates, their families, their community and their culture, as well as their social, emotional, educational and physical skills. We promote the development of skills and attitudes necessary to become successful in the academic setting, and in life in general. We strive to develop a collaborative working relationship with parents, as we are aware of the importance of stability and balance in the children's life.
